Udupi: Three men, who had murderously assaulted labourers in a bid to grab sand blocks, were found guilty of crime by Additional Civil Judge and JMFC Shyam Prakash.

Dinesh Tingalaya, Anand Karkera, Naveen Kanchan and Krishna Kanchan had attacked sand block owner Pushparaj from Uppur on June 4, 2015. They had also assaulted his labourers Navarangi, Jeevith and Sanoj with lethal weapons in Muduthonse. 

During trial, the accused Krishna Kanchan passed away. Additional Civil Judge and JMFC Shyam Prakash upholding arguments of Assistant Public Prosecutor Mohini K pronounced Dinesh Tingalaya, Anand Karkera and Naveen Kanchan guilty of assaulting the labourers.
