Kumta: The Hubbangiri branch of the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), under the Kumta–Honnavar Assembly unit in Uttara Kannada district, organized a blood donation camp in front of Farooqiya Mosque at Hubbangiri on Thursday.

The camp witnessed voluntary participation from local residents, including both men and women, who donated blood as part of the humanitarian initiative.

SDPI Kumta–Honnavar Assembly president Rafiq Hemakki, secretary Rizwan Kagal, Abdul Sattar Mulla Kagal, office-bearers of the Hubbangiri branch, party workers and local residents were present on the occasion.

The donated blood was later handed over to the Kumta Rotary Blood Bank for use by patients in need.
