Kasargod: A mysterious incident took place here at Ramanchira as two youths simultaneously committed suicide by hanging on 5th March, Monday.
The deceased, identified as Vinish (26yrs) and Arun Kumar (24yrs) were friends as well as neighbours living in Chimeni here.
According to sources, both their bodies were found hanging as the incident came to light. While Vinish had ended his life by hanging to a tree near his house, Arun committed suicide by hanging himself inside the house.
As soon as they heard about it, the Chimeni police arrived at the spot and conducted investigations. The dead bodies were sent to Medical College for post-mortem.
The mystery behind the simultaneous suicide of the duo who worked as daily wage labourers has stirred up many questions.
The Chimeni police are investigating further to unravel this mystery under DySP K Damodaran.
