Sirsi: The Banvasi forest officials on Thursday have seized 23 kg of Sandalwood being trafficked near Malalagaun and have arrested two persons in this regard.

The accused were identified as Nagendra Naik and Shekar Gauda.

A raid was conducted by the team led by Banvasi RFO, in which members including Dhananjaya Naik, Ajjappa NK, Prakash Lamani, Ramesh HC and others had participated.
