Mangaluru: The Konkan Railway will run special trains between Mumbai CST – Kochuveli to clear extra rush of passengers during Diwali festival.

A press release said that Train Number 01079 Mumbai CST – Kochuveli Special will leave from Mumbai CST at 120:20 am on October 17 and 24 and will reach Kochuveli at 9 am on the next day.

TrainNumber 01080 Kochuveli - Mumbai CST Special will leave from Kochuveli at 12 noon on October 18 and 25 and will reach Mumbai CST at 10.15pm on the next day.

The train will halt at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavli, Kudal,Thivim,Karmali,Madgaon Junction, Karwar, Kumta, Bhatkal, Kundapura, Udupi,Mulki,Suratkal,Mangalore Junction, Kasargod, Kannur, Thalassery,Kozhikkode,Tirur, Shoranur Junction, Thrissur, Aluva,Ernakulam Town,Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Kayankulam and Kollam stations.
