Sirsi: As a part of purification process, the BJP activists sprinkled Gomutra on the Raghavendra Kalyana Mantap’s stage, where actor Prakash Raj had participated in the State-level convention on ‘Namma Samvidhana-Namma Hemme’ which had been organised by Preeti Padagala Payana at Raghavendra Math, in Sirsi, on 13th January, Saturday. 

Actor Prakash Raj had condemned the Constitution changing statement of Union Minister Ananth Kumar Hegde at the convention.

Speaking on the occasion, BJP Yuva Morcha City unit President Vishal Marathe said, Hindus worship Cow as a God. However, after the visit of beef eaters and Hindu haters, the entire Sirsi town has been polluted. The society will not excuse Prakash Raj for his derisive comments on the Hindu gods. Hence, the religious place has to be purified with cleaning the stage with the cow urine, he said.

In this regard, Vishal Marathe, in a press statement, on Sunday, had informed that the religious place will be purified, as it has been polluted followwing the visit of self-proclaimed intellectuals and unscrupulous elements.
