Puttur: The Karnataka government has issued an order appointing Stella Varghese as the new Assistant Commissioner of the Puttur sub-division.

Following the transfer of Senior Assistant Commissioner Jubin Mohapatra, Shravan Kumar had been serving as the probationary Assistant Commissioner. Now, Stella Varghese, a KAS junior-grade officer currently serving as the Project Director of the District Urban Development Cell in Uttara Kannada, has been appointed as the Assistant Commissioner for Puttur sub-division, which includes Puttur, Sullia, Belthangady, and Kadaba taluks.
