Ullal: A tense situation prevailed in Natikal region near Ullal for some hours on 8th January, Monday, when unidentified miscreants attacked a Masjid and damaged its windows. Hundreds of people gathered outside the attacked Masjid and demanded that the police arrest the culprits.

Sources said that the miscreants pelted stones at the Ibrahim Haji Masjid, damaging its windows. They also stole a CCTV camera from nearby shop and also destroyed refrigerator and tiles from another shop. Locals suspect that it might be done by some water tank employees in the region and have asked the police to take them in for interrogation.

Police have seized a bike and investigations are on.
