Bhatkal: An 18-Year-Old, student of Madrasa, was injured after his bike skidded near Masjid e Abubakar Siddique here at Jamia Abad Road in Bhatkal on Thursday morning.

The injured victim was identified as Ibrahim Hasan, a resident of Kumta.

According to sources, Ibrahim on his bike was on the way towards his hometown Kumta after finishing exams. Though his bike was speed, it went out of control and skidded on the road resulting in the severe injuries to his head.

He was immediately rushed to Honnavar hospital after providing initial treatments at Bhatkal govt hospital. But now it is learned that he has been shifting to Mangalore hospital for further treatment.
