Dandeli: Students and citizens took part in ‘Sauharda Karnataka’ human chain programme here recently, and took the oath of harmony.

City Municipal Council President Nagesh Salunke inaugurated the programme, paying tributes to the portrait of Mahatma Gandhiji, near Somani Circle. Human chain was formed near Bangurnagar Degree College, Barchi Road, Somani Circle, J N Road, Link Road, and Kittur Chennamma Circle.

Harish Naik, U S Patil, I P Ghatakambale, B N Vasare, D Samson, Akram Khan, S S Pujar, Tswar Soudagar, Anil Dandagal, Keerthi Gaonkar, and others were present.
