Yallapur: Thieves have made away with gold ornaments and cash from a house belonging to Kiravatti Gram Panchayat Development Officer P Yogendra in the town.

Thieves entered the house breaking open back door, when inmates were away and spirited away with 212 gm gold ornaments worth Rs 5.35 lakh and Rs 45,000. A case has been registered at Yallapur Police Station.
