Mangaluru: Three more arrested in Shivaraj murder case, toll rises to 10

Mangaluru: Three more accused have been nabbed by the police on 19th February, Monday in connection to the Shivaraj Murder case last month. Around 10 accused have been arrested so far regarding the case.

The arrested accused are Vikram (25yrs), Ajay (20yrs) and Suman Kotian (19yrs). Vikram and Ajay are from Bengre, while Suman is a resident of Bejai.

According to sources, the arrests were made by the Panambur police and Mangaluru north anti-rowdy squad acting upon a tip-off that the accused will be present near the KSRTC bus stand.

Shivaraj was murdered on 22nd January at his brother’s house in Tannirbavi where three assailants broke into the house and hacked him to death.

The arrest operation was conducted under the guidance of DCPs Hanumantharaya and Uma Prashant and directions of police commissioner T R Suresh.
