Mangaluru: Three security guards of an agriculture credit co-operative bank in Kotekar near Mangaluru were reportedly found dead in mysterious condition on the morning of 7th November, Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Umesh, Somanath, and Santosh. 

The reason behind the death of trio is suspected that they might have been hit by a lightning when they were sleeping inside the bank at night. The region had witnessed heavy rain along with lightning and thunderstorms on Monday night.

The incident came to light on the Tuesday morning when the bank was opened. As the news spread, the people in huge number gathered at the bank.

A case has been registered in Ullal police station and investigations are on.
