Yallapur: A truck driver was killed on the spot after the truck he was driving toppled at Arabail Ghat in Yallapur on Sunday, 1st July.

The deceased has been identified as Balaso Parate (70), a native of Sampanagar in Kolhapur.

According to sources, the reason for this mishap was rash and negligent driving by the driver. Cleaner Vishwanath Khot (60) has sustained injuries.

A case is registered at Yallapur Police station.
