Kumta: An incident was reported here on Manaki NH-66 in the outskirts of Kumta on 8th April Sunday evening, after a speeding truck got toppled causing traffic breakdown.

The tragedy caused the truck to topple upside down and resulted in the traffic breakdown on the highway for an hour.

According to the sources, the incident happened when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The truck was heading towards Mumbai from Kerala state. Though the incident looked horrific, there were no kind of casualties.

A case has been registered in Kumta police station and investigations are on.
