Karwar: Both the bike riders were injured after the bikes they were riding had a head-on collision with each other  occurred near Gopisitta region in the taluk on 7th November, Tuesday.

The injured were identified as Shivanand Gaonkar, a ranger in forest department of Gopisitta circle and Nagaraj, an employee in Kaiga. Both sustained severe injuries on their face.

They were immediately rushed to the district hospital for initial treatments and were later shifted to Bambolim hospital in Goa for further treatment.
