Two farmers electrocuted in Yellapur

Yellapur: Two farmers died due to electrocution, on Tuesday, after they accidentally came in contact with a live wire at Chandraguli village, of Yellapur taluk.

Sources informed that both were working at a farm of Gopalkrishna, when the incident took place while they jumped over barbwire fence attached to the field.

The deceased are Gopalkrishna Ramachandra Hegde (45) of Gundenkoppa and Subraya Gopala Bhat (59) of Hubbanalli village.

It is said that an electric wire had snapped and fallen on the fence. 

A case has been registered in Yellapur police station.
