Sirsi: Forest officials arrested two persons, on Wednesday, on charges of hunting a wild goat, at Mundigejaddi, near Tataguni, in Sirsi taluk, and recovered 1.6 kg raw meat, 5.5 kg cooked meat, a country pistol and three knives, from them.

The arrested are Manjunath Patgar of Tataguni and Gangadhar Naik of Uratoot, in Sirsi taluk. Two others Gowrish Naik and Manjunath Naik are absconding, officials said.
