Udupi: A young man named Ajay (21), employed as an electrician, drowned and lost his life in Pattibavu stream, Bairampalli village in udupi district on Sunday. 

Ajay had gone to KC Road on Sunday afternoon to engage in a game of volleyball. Following the volleyball game, at approximately 2:30 PM, Ajay and his friends gathered on the stream's bank. Subsequently, he expressed his intention to swim to the opposite side of the river, entered the stream, and tragically drowned in the middle. The local residents were able to recover his lifeless body around 4 o'clock.

A case related to this incident has been registered at the Hiriyadka police station.
