Udupi: A teacher working for a private school in the district was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her house on Monday morning.

She has been identified as Amrutha, 32.

She is suspected to have committed suicide between 10.30pm on Sunday night and 6.20am on Monday.

In a complaint, her family said she was working in a school for the past eight years and was going through stress and depression because of work pressure.

The Manipal police have registered a case that is under investigation.
