Mangaluru:  The Ullal police arrested two men for reportedly abusing a woman Home Guard, who was on duty at Kapikad near Thokkottu. 

The Home Guard was prevented from discharging her duty. The arrested were identified as Mohammed Hasir and Nazeem from Halekote in Ullal. The Home Guard was attached to the traffic station at Naguri. Mohammed and Nazeem, both students, were riding two-wheeler on the wrong side of NH 66 on Sept 25. The Home Guard took their pictures on her cellphone. The students, allegedly abused and assaulted the home guard, before fleeing from the spot. The home guard later filed a laint with police. The Ullal police arrested the duo on Monday.
