Yellapur: An unidentified body of an elderly man was found here at a pond located across NH-63 near Bisgod region in the Yellapur. 

The body is approximately 50 years of age. It is suspected that the victim might have slipped in the pond while catching fishes. 

The case in town police station was registered by Jogesh Shettar, an owner of land next to the pond. Further investigations are carried on.
