Karwar: Recovered valuables including gold ornaments and other properties worth Rs 75 lakh were returned to their owners during a property parade held at police parade ground in Karwar on Monday. 

Superintendent of Police Suman Pennekar handed over the properties including vehicles and cash to their owners. They were recovered from thieves in various cases that took place in the district. 

Speaking on the occasion, Suman Pennekar said, all accused involved in 18 murder cases took place in the district this year, were arrested. Various theft cases were also cracked. Stolen gold ornaments, vehicles and cash were recovered and returned to their owners, she stated.
