Kumta: Chennai-based Gramotthana Centre's Murur branch in the taluk is inaugurating its sewing training centre and kumkum (vermilion) manufacturing unit, on April 13 at 3 pm, at Mahasathi temple premises near Katagal, in the taluk.

Gramotthana Centre's State unit chief organiser Dinakar Rav Jadhav will inaugurate the sewing training centre and Katagal-based Kalasri Samskrutik Vedike president K Ganpathi Bhat will inaugurate the kumkum manufacturing unit.

Harshita Haridas and retired teacher H N Ambiga will be chief guests.
