Karwar: Former minister Anand Asnotikar said he will re-enter politics after taking suggestion from seniors and supporters by the end of November. He was addressing the people, who gathered in front of his house at Sadashivgad near Karwar on Sunday demanding his re-entry into politics. After unsuccessfully contesting the assembly elections, he stayed away from politics for the last five years. But, according to him, his supporters demand that he re-enter politics. He said he will take the opinion of his supporters and seniors, and then visit a few temples before re-entering politics. However, it all looked like a high-drama as his “supporters”, who staged a protest demanding his re-entry into politics, were served biryani before returning to their destinations.
