Mundgod: In a road accident, a woman was reported dead after she fell off a moving bike at Gunjavati village in Mundgod taluk on Monday evening.

The deceased is identified as Bagubai Jannu Jore, a resident of Gunjavati village.

It is said that the victim was moving to her village after attending the weekly shandy at Mundgod town. She was traveling in a bike and unfortunately, she fell off a bike and sustained severe head injuries. She was then shifted to the government hospital for treatment. Later she succumbed to injuries in the hospital.
