Sirsi: Writers need to have a command over language to attain success, said writer T M Jagadish.
He noted this while releasing ‘Kumbri mattu Marathigara Baduku Binnana’, the book, edited by writer P N Nagendra, at a programme jointly organised by Chutuku Sahitya Parishat taluk unit and Kasturi Sirigannada Vedike in the town recently.
Chutuku Sahitya Parishat district unit president Subray Bhat inaugurated the programme. Litterateur Bhagirathi Hegde was present. Ramu Kini introduced the literary work.
During the poet’s conclave, Rajalakshmi Bhat Bommanalli, R M Shet, D M Bhat Kuluve, Arpita Bhat Sugavi, D S Naik, K S Agnihotri and many others recited their poems.
