Udupi: Three persons were taken into custody by the police during a raid on a residential complex near Syndicate Circle in Manipal on Sunday. 

They face charges related to operating a prostitution racket in two flats within the complex. 

The arrested individuals, Maruthi, Sudhir, and Ganesh, were involved in collaboration with a man named Jagadish, also known as Jagga, in running the illicit operation. 

Authorities successfully rescued women found in the two apartments.
