Mangaluru: “Let Sangh Parivar protest against former BJP minister Gali Janardhana Reddy and minister Sriramulu if they have the power to do so,” SDPI State President Abdul Majeed Mysuru dared on Friday.
He was addressing a gathering during a mega SDPI rally held at Kannur on the city’s outskirts.
“Due to explosives, Sukkuramma temple in Ballari district was damaged by Janardhana Reddy and Sriramulu. Do the Sanghis have the power to act against them?” he asked.
“The people of the district should tell that they will not even give a fist of sand from Malali mosque. The dream of acquiring Malali mosque will remain a dream. KPCC President D K Shivakumar has issued a direction not to speak on Malali mosque. The Congress has yet again failed to stand up for Muslims,” he said.
The SDPI is committed to freeing the country from corruption. The BJP is in favour of corporates. The fascist forces are dividing the country through hate politics, corruption and communalism. The BJP government in Karnataka is mired in corruption, he added.
SDPI National General Secretary Ilyas Mohammed Thumbe said, “The Congress in the state is sad that the BJP government is engaged in 40% commission. When the Congress was in power, they were collecting 30.5% commission.”
