Karwar: A lot of changes have taken place in the education sector and the new National Education Policy is being implemented in the State after four years of study. Hence, one should be prepared mentally to accept such changes in the education sector, said Primary & Secondary Education Minister B C Nagesh.
He was speaking after inaugurating the State-level educational conference jointly organised by State PU Colleges’ Employees Association and Uttara Kannada district PU Colleges Principals Association in Karwar on Saturday.
He said, the New Education Policy is not being implemented for any political gain. However, some are criticising the New Education Policy. The study report on it was uploaded on the website. Opinions and suggestions of experts of various subjects were collected before implementing it. The New Education Policy aims to provide proper education to all, he added.
