Karwar: In a shocking incident, around ten Kgs of 'Ganja' (Cannabis) was seized from a private bus here at Goa border in the late night on Saturday, 15th September.

According to the sources, the bus carrying passengers, plying from Goa to Mangaluru, had around ten bags of Ganja containing one kg in each, was seized after the excise officials raided it near Goa border in Karwar. The Ganja as well as the bus have been seized by the excise police officials.

The passengers expressed their anger over seizing of bus which created problem in their journey.

A case has been registered in Karwar police station.
