Mangaluru: The CCB sleuths on Thursday have arrested two men for betting on the ongoing India-Australia test cricket match.

Acting on a tip-off, the CCB sleuths raided Montherio house in Chembugudde in Ullal police station limits and arrested Alwyn Kiran Montherio (23) and Kishor D’Souza (39) from Kotekar. The duo had collected Rs 2.06 lakh from bettors. 

Seven cell phones, two laptops and one tab were seized by police. The total value of the articles seized was around Rs 2.18 lakh, sources added.

The police have launched a search for Vishwas, who is said to be the kingpin behind the betting racket, police added.
