Siddapur: Two brothers were injured seriously, after the lightening, that struck over a ceramic roofed house during a heavy rain which lashed in the city on Friday evening. The incident happened at Kadakeri region in Siddapur.

The victims are identified as Shashank Krishna Naik and Sandeep Krishna Naik.

It is gathered that the incident took place when both brothers were studying in their house. They were immediately rushed to the hospital after the tragedy. House belonging to Krishna Naik reportedly damaged as fire erupted due to the striking force. 

Tahsildar Pattaraja visited the spot.
