Honnavar: Two men riding on bike were killed on the spot after their bike came in collision with a speeding lorry near Keremane region in Honnavar taluk.

The deceased are identified as Dinesh Madiwal, 26, a resident of Kundapur, and Prasanna Achari, 23, a resident of Mavinakurwa.

It is said that the incident happened when the bike was heading towards Basti from Honnavar, while the lorry was in the opposite direction. Both met with an head-on collision.  

The lorry, after the incident, fled the scene fearing the incident.

A case has been registered in Manki police station.
