Karwar: In a tragic accident reported at Ankola National Highway in Uttar Kannada district, a driver was killed while another was left seriously injured in a head on collision between two trucks.
The accident occurred on 23rd July, Sunday morning at Sonkassal NH63 in Ankola.
The deceased has been identified as Murugan (30 yrs) of Tamilnadu. On the other hand, the driver and cleaners of the other truck were also severely injured in the accident. They have been admitted to the Ankola Government hospital.
The case has been registered in Ankola Police stationa nd and investigations are in progress.
