Bhatkal: As many as five people were left injured after the speedy car lost its control and met with a serial of collision with three vehicles on Nawayath Colony NH66 in Bhatkal. The incident happened on the afternoon of 20th June, Tuesday. 

According to the sources, the speedy car approaching from Udupi, first hit a bike, then to an auto rickshaw and lastly to a Luna one after the other. During the accident, the car was on the way towards Honnavar. 

The impact of collision made the Auto rickshaw to turn turtle causing all four passengers in it receive severe injuries. Also, the bike rider was injured in the mishap. Luna came underneath the wheels of the car in the impact.

All five injured were immediately taken to Kundapur hospital after providing initial treatments at Bhatkal govt hospital.

In this regard, a case has been registered in Bhatkal police station and investigations are on.
