Karwar: Every citizen of the country plays an important role in the progress and development of India. If our youths seriously start working for the development of the country, they can become important elements of the nation and can contribute immensely to its growth and development, said MLA Roopali Naik.
She noted this while speaking after inaugurating the ‘Creativity Fest’, Youth Red Cross, NSS, Scouts & Guides, cultural and sports activities for the year 2018-19, at Divekar Commerce College in the City on Saturday.
The present generation of youths should inculcate the quality of reading, writing, listening, communicating with people and preparing for competitive exams from their student life, she said.
She called upon students to involve in group discussions and interaction programmes regarding their studies. Youths of the country are the future of nation and represent the
most dynamic section of population.
Youth and their actions contribute to the development of a nation like India. It is the intelligence and work of the people that lead to the
progress of the nation, she added.
The power of youth should be used wisely for the progress of the nation. It is important to frame policies which aim at empowering our youths to assure better tomorrow and brighter future, she said and called upon students to be dedicated towards their goal.
