Bhatkal: The annual social gathering of Anjuman Girls High School (AGHS), Basti Road ,Bhatkal and Anjuman Girls English Medium High School (AGEMHS), Nawayath Colony, Bhatkal celebrated on 4th December, Tuesday here at Bhatkal, in which "Batool-e-Anjuman" and "Dukhtar-e-Anjuman" awards were given to the respective outstanding students.
The ‘Batool-e-Anjuman’ was awarded to Maimuna Eifa D/o Mohammed Masood Ali Akbara of Anjuman Girls High School and ‘Dukhtar-e-Anjuman’ award was conferred to Hajira Aifa D/o Abdus Salam Ruknuddin of Anjuman Girls English Medium High School.
Silver medals for eminent students for the year 2018-19 are Daniya D/o Mussadique Ali Akbara and Fathima Nida D/o Mohammed Aslam from Anjuman Girls High School, Basti Road, Bhatkal, While Noora Kazia D/o Mohammed Shuaib Kazia and Asiya Jubna D/o Mohammed Ismail Akram of Anjuman girls English Medium School, Nawaytah Colony, Bhatkal.
On the occasion, a special felicitation was done to senior approved staff of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen to Haseena Shaikh for her three decades service, as she will be getting retired in 2019.
The program began with the recitation of verses from Holy Quran by Sufiya, translated by Najifa, followed by the Hamd by Afreen, Naat by Ruksar, Lulu and team, Saiha, Narmeen and group sang the Anjuman Tarana song, while Miss Gulzar Shaikh welcomed guests and introduced the guest and Asiya delivered the vote of thanks.
Both Headmistress Atiya Abdur Rahman RS of Anjuman Girls High School, and Saba Damda of Anjuman Girls English Medium High School delivered a brief report of their institution. Prof Zuhra Abbas, Principal, PA First Grade College, Mangaluru was chief guest, while Mrs Yasmeen Akhtar, Administrator, Azam Public School, Mysore was guest of Honour and the gathering was presided by Mrs Seema Kashimji, member of ladies Advisory Committee, Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen, Bhatkal.
