Mangaluru: Two assaulted by suspected right wingers for meeting girls in Beltangadhy

Mangaluru: An incident was reported at Beltangadhy here, where a group attacked two youths who had come to a college to meet girls on 2nd September, Saturday.

The victims are identified as Muhammed Unais (19 yrs) and Yusuf (20 yrs), residents of Chikkamagaluru.

According to the sources, the duo had come on a bike in order to meet up with two girls from different community who were studying in a college. However, they were assaulted by a group of youngsters who saw them at the bus stand clicking the photographs with the girls.

A video was recorded during the assault which has now gone viral on social media. As soon as the police learnt about the incident, they took the attackers into custody on assault charge.

However, no complaint has been filed in the police station yet.
