Bhatkal: As many as 70 resolutions addressing key social, educational, economic and Muslim community-related issues were passed at the 5th Bainul-Jamaati Conference held in Bhatkal. A 32-member council has been constituted to ensure the systematic implementation of the approved resolutions. A separate session was also organised for women to apprise them of the outcomes of the conference.
The three-day conference, held from January 17 to 19 under the patronage of the century-old social organisation Majlis Islah wa Tanzeem, brought together office-bearers and representatives of major religious and community institutions of the town to deliberate on prevailing challenges and future concerns facing the community.

To present the adopted resolutions before the public, a general meeting was convened on February 11 after Isha prayers at Tanzeem Millia Masjid in Navayath Colony.
Tanzeem General Secretary Abdul Raqeeb M.J. Nadvi, while outlining the proceedings, stated that the conference held detailed discussions on social reform, education and moral development, economic stability, local community and civic matters, and other pressing social issues. He read out all 70 resolutions and emphasised that public cooperation would be crucial for their effective implementation.

Conference Convenor Ateequr Rahman Muniri, in his welcome address, highlighted the objectives of the Bainul-Jamaati initiative and stressed the importance of unity, coordination and collective responsibility among institutions.
Bhatkal Qazis Maulana Abdul Rab Khateebi Nadvi and Maulana Khwaja Akrami Madani, along with Jamia Masjid Khateeb Maulana Abdul Aleem Nadvi, addressed the gathering and urged the community to extend full support in implementing the resolutions.

The programme commenced with the recitation and translation of the Holy Qur’an by Maulavi Mohammed Shakeeb Shabandari Nadvi, followed by a naat presentation. Maulana Maqbool Kobatte Nadvi conducted the proceedings, while Tanzeem President Inayatullah Shabandari presided over the programme. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Deputy Convenor Mohiddin Altaf Kharoori and a dua by Maulavi Abdul Aleem Qasmi.
It is learnt that the newly formed 32-member Bainul-Jamaati Council comprises representatives from Bhatkal’s five central organisations and other key bodies. The council is expected to elect its Convenor and Deputy Convenor in the coming days and prepare a structured action plan for implementing the resolutions.
