Bhatkal: A two day national level conference on the topic ‘Recent trend in Mechanical and Electrical engineering’ will be organized by the mechanical department of Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management on 26th and 27th of October in Bhatkal. This information was provided by the college principal Dr. Mushtaque Bhavi Katte.
In a press conference held at Anjuman College, the principal has said that the aim of organizing the conference was to improve the talents of students and take them to the research level. The experts from various colleges on national level will enlighten the new trends in mechanical and electrical fields. The professor of NITK Surathkal and former director of Monnet Bhopal, Dr. Appokottan KK will be the chief guest of the conference. Abdur Rehman Batin, the vice president one of Anjuman will preside over the function; also the general secretary Siddique Ismail and additional general secretary Muhammed ishaque Shabandari will be present on the occasion. The conference will be helpful for the research scholars and the people interested in educational fields as well, said the principal.
Speaking to SahilOnline in this regard, the secretary of Anjuman Engineering College, Mr. Abdur Rehman Siddiqui has said that the administration and college authorities were trying to bring the research scholars and experts from all over the country. It is being hoped that more than 40 research theories will be presented in the conference. He also said that all the theories presented during the conference will be published in international journals. The main intension behind holding the conference was to build interest regarding research among the students of their own college and make them learn new things and push them forward in the areas of research, he said.
The convener of conference and president of mechanical department Dr. K Fazlurrahman, professor Anil Kadli, Professor Muhammed Iqbal of electrical department and others were present on the occasion.
