Sirsi: Bhatkal Anjuman Arts, Science and commerce college and PG centre Ex principal and Litterateur Dr. Syed Zameerullah Shareef will preside over the 21st Kannada Sahitya Sammelan of Uttara Kannada district to be held in Yellapur on December 22 and 23.

The decision in this regard was taken at the executive committee meeting of the Kannada Sahitya Parishat presided over by the Parishat district unit president Arvind Karkikodi. During the meeting, the names of Syed Zameerullah Shareef, Shanti Nayak, Sharada Bhat, Gopalkrishna Hegde Kerimane, Nagesh Hegde Bakkemane were considered. Parishat office-bearers Gangadhar Kolgi, Sharada Bhat Koojalli, Amrut Ramrath, Shridhar Uppinganapathi, Nagaraj Malkod, Venugopal Madguni and others were present.
