Mega blood donation camp held in Bhatkal by Coastal King Welfare Association

Bhatkal: Coastal King Welfare Association along with Blood Help Care Karnataka (R) in association with Indian Red cross society Kundapur held a mega blood donation camp at Madeena Cricket Ground here  on 5th November, Tuesday.

Around 150 people donated their blood at the camp after which they were awarded with certificates as a mark of honor.

At the valedictory function of Blood camp, Karnataka Minister for Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Venkata Rao Nadagouda appreciated and applauded those who donated their blood and organised the camp, terming it a great service for humanity.

The minister as well as several members of the association were also felicitated during the camp.

Iqbal Pathan, President of Association , presided over the function. At the inaugural function, Jayakar Shetty chairman Indian Red Cross Society Kundapur, President Pasttana Panchayat Adam Panambur, Mr. Shivaram Shetty, Ganesh Acharya, Veerender Kumar Guttal, Faiyaz Ali,  Vasiullah Siddiabapa, Abdul Gafoor Saheb, Moulana Ashafque Potey and many others were present.
