Bhatkal: A fancied Azaad suffered a shocking two-run defeat at the hands of Cosmos as they failed to chase down a tricky target in Saifan Nawaz Coastal King T10 Final cricket match, in Bhatkal on Sunday evening.
Chasing a target of 91, Azaad were restricted to 88 with loss of 7 wickets with seamer Mustaqeem Kumshe (2-0-18-3) bowling a brilliant over to give a great win in finals.
Needing only 20 off the final over, Saad hit two sixes in a over, but failed to get victory to his team, when Mudassir Mubarak bowled well .
Earlier, Cosmos' opener Yaseen scored 42 off 24 balls with three sixes and fours each and was top scorer of the match.
Cosmos managed to score 90 runs in 10 overs.
During the presentation ceremony, members of Coastal Kings' were awarded for their excellent achievements in various fields.
