Bhatkal: The Dongar Palli Committee in Bhatkal has elected its new office-bearers following the constitution of a fresh administrative body, with Maulavi Mohammed Faizan Haji Faqih Nadvi appointed as President and Inayatullah Gawai as General Secretary.

The other office-bearers elected to key positions include Syed Azhar Bafaqqi as Vice President, Maulana Mohammed Fawwaz Mansoori Nadvi as Secretary, Mohammed Iqbal Siddibapa as Treasurer, and Maulavi Musayyib Bafaqqi as Auditor.

The committee oversees the management of Masjid Khizar, the Moon Star Sports Centre, and certain educational institutions in the locality. A 20-member administrative committee has been constituted at the local level to streamline its activities.

Apart from local members, representatives from various cities across India as well as members residing abroad have also been inducted into the administrative body, reflecting broader community participation in the committee’s functioning.
