Bhatkal: An accidental fire engulfed in a house located at Azad Nagar 4th cross in the town, resulting in the severe loss by turning the household appliances into the ashes. The incident happened in the morning of Monday, 22nd October.

It is suspected that the house, belonging to Abdul Wajid Damudi, witnessed the fire mishap due to short circuit. In the incident, the electrical appliances like grinder, geezer, and other things were burnt. The fire was later extinguished with the help of neighbours. 

Fire brigade personnel too rushed to the spot and checked for the necessary actions to stop the fire from further spreading.
