Bhatkal: After serving in the police department for 30 years, the head constable of Bhatkal Town police station, Ashok Gownkar retired from duty on 31^st July, Monday.

Ashok had been promoted as the head constable after serving as constable for years in Mundgod, Sirsi, Murdeshwar and Bhatkal.

Department officers, his colleagues and friends wished him a peaceful and happy life after his retirement.
