Bhatkal: The two thieves, who were arrested by Honnaver police before a few days in connection with the robbery of four houses in Honnaver, were also connected with the robbery that took place in Bhatkal before a few months.

The police have informed that the robbers have accepted that they were involved in the robbery of a house which is situated at Jali road in Bhatkal.

The arrested persons have been identified as Maroof and Jafar.

It should be noted that the theft had taken place in the holy month of Ramzan at a house which is situated at Bhatkal Jali Road, where the thieves went away with the jewelry worth rupees 40 lakhs along with rupees 2.5lakhs in cash.

The Honnaver police are further investigating the case and are trying to get back the stolen possessions.
