Bhatkal: A distressing incident reported near Shirali in Bhatkal on 15th September, Thursday afternoon at 2PM, after a man unfortunately fell into well after his legs slipped off the ground resulting in instant death. 

The deceased has been identified as Manohar Narasimha Shanbag (49). 

As the incident reported, wife of the deceased, Mamata Manohar filed a complaint in this regard. The police personnel rushed the spot and made necessary investigations. 

Further investigations in this matter is continued after a case has been registered at Bhatkal police station.
