Bhatkal Muslim Youth Federation holds annual general meeting

Bhatkal: Taking responsibility may be easy, but fulfilling it with sincerity and dedication is what truly matters, said Azizur Rahman Ruknuddin Nadvi, general secretary of the century-old social organisation Majlise Islah wa Tanzeem, Bhatkal.

Nadvi was speaking as the chief guest at the annual general meeting of the Bhatkal Muslim Youth Federation (BMYF), an umbrella organisation representing sports centres across Bhatkal.

Appreciating the role of BMYF members in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, Nadvi said youth from almost every sports centre had actively participated in SIR-related work.

Nadvi, a former president of BMYF, also appreciated the youth for their contribution to various social and welfare initiatives. He urged them to continue serving the community while giving equal importance to sports and constructive youth activities.

BMYF President Maulavi Vasiullah DF Nadvi presided over the meeting.

An interactive session followed, with representatives of various sports centres raising questions and offering suggestions regarding the Federation’s activities and future programmes.

The meeting concluded with a commitment to further strengthen the Federation, involve more youth in constructive activities and continue contributing to the welfare and development of Bhatkal.
